Black is the new, er, black when it comes to interviews

Recruiters may not want to be so dismissive of any Goth that comes into their offices in search of work.

This is due to the findings of a new of a study of 2,000 Britons by vaping brand blu, alongside psychologist Dr Becky Spelman, which found black is the colour candidates should wear if they want to land a new role.

The research found if people want to be seen as serious, most Brits (24%) think they should dress head-to-toe in black. So candidates opting for a splash of colour on interview day should perhaps think again!
