Doctors, nurses and healthcare workers in demand in Leicestershire

Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT) and University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust are hitting the recruitment trail this week.

In a statement, released this week, the trusts revealed they would be attending The Job Show Leicester at Leicester City Football Club this Thursday (4 April 2019), recruiting across a range of roles.

The trusts say they will be promoting the diverse range of roles available in both hospital and community settings at the recruitment event. Vacancies are currently open for doctors and nurses, therapists of all kinds, healthcare support workers and administrative roles, such as admin assistant, clinical co-ordinator and medical team administrator.

In a separate announcement Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust (LPT), which provides mental health, learning disability and community health services, added it is looking to recruit more mental health nurses.

It currently has vacancies for experienced mental health nurses, including bank community psychiatric nurses band 6 positions, band 5 bank mental health/learning disabilities staff nurses and a band 6 mental health practitioner to join its crisis resolution and home treatment team at the Bradgate Mental Health Unit at Glenfield Hospital.
