Teenager helps to find homeless man a job

A homeless man has found a job, thanks to a teenager who saw his note posted next to a bus stop.

The BBC reports 16-year-old Charlotte Howard saw the note on the Hastings bus stop on her way to college. The note, which asked for any type of work to ‘make life worth living’, was written by Anthony Johnson, who had been living on the streets for nine years. Howard then decided to post an appeal on social media.

So far her appeal has raised £1k and found a caravan for Johnson to live in. After seeing her appeal, Nelson Smith has offered Johnson a job and the pair are now setting up a handyman business together.
