HushHush.com offers an apprenticeship but not as we know it
Put aside your outdated images of low-paid apprentices. Cast out of your mind once and for all the idea of apprentices as cheap labour to be exploited by cynical employers.
Last month Recruiter revealed a previous job advert for a luxury product tester for an exclusive online marketplace, dubbed ‘Amazon for millionaires’.
Now it is offering one lucky person an apprenticeship within its luxury concierge service. HushHush.com is looking for the right candidate to help fulfil the wishes of their wealthy clientele, and is willing to pay a £40k (yes, 40 thousand pounds) salary.
After a strict and thorough selection process to ensure that only the best are given the opportunity to fulfil the role, the ‘apprentice’ will enrol on a concierge training course, where they will be trained not only in servicing the needs of their wealthy clients, but also in the etiquette needed in high society.
The role will be based at the HushHush.com head office in London, with training in Monaco. The successful candidate will be expected to travel to exotic locations around the world, as well as lengthy trips to the USA and Japan.
While no previous hospitality experience is required, people skills and attitude are everything for this role, so candidates will need to be able to schmooze clients and feel comfortable working in any situation.
HushHush.com collates some of the best unique luxury products available, from superyachts to hypercars to luxury villas and private islands, and partners with sellers to reach their audience.
The job will involve learning how to support wealthy customers with issues affecting the super rich, such as booking a table at an exclusive restaurant, procuring tickets to sold out events and organising private jets.
