• City-based hospitality recruitment specialist Admiral Recruitment has appointed Sarah Pittaway as director of permanent recruitment and business services.

Having started her career with the British Army, Pittaway went on to hold a number of senior roles within the hospitality sector, including managing director of Chester Boyd, and more recently operations director for Holroyd Howe. She joins Admiral after six years running her own consultancy company.

• North-East consultancy BMC Recruitment Group has appointed Chris Milnes as managing director.

• Cloud computing company Bullhorn has appointed Aaron McIntosh as its general manager for the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.

• Global health & safety firm Bureau Veritas has named Katie White as HR director of its UK business. White was previously head of Centres of Expertise for North-West Europe at the company.

• Professional services recruiter Eames Consulting Group has appointed Avtar Sandhu as senior consultant in its Reading office. Patricia Ballweg also joins the firm’s internal talent acquisition team as a talent acquisition manager in London.

• Global professional services provider FDM Group has appointed David Lister as non-executive chairman. Lister will succeed Ivan Martin who retires from the board on 5 March 2019.

• Global executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles has appointed Jenni Hibbert as global practice managing partner of its financial services practice, Dan Ryan as regional leader for the Americas, and Stephen Schwanhausser as global practice managing partner of its consumer markets practice.

• Global executive search and leadership advisory firm Marlin Hawk welcomes client partner David O’Toole, alongside Sarah Cullen and Omar Al Bakri, who join as principals.

• Global talent solutions business Morgan Philips Group has launched a new leadership structure for the UK that sees Alistair Shaw appointed as Scotland director for Fyte; Richard Turner appointed as England director for Fyte; Stuart Packham appointed as UK managing director for Morgan Philips Executive Search; Tim Drake appointed head of consulting for Morgan Philips Talent Consulting; Peter Istead remains as UK MD for Morgan Philips Group with overall responsibility for the UK market.

• Leeds-based recruitment consultancy Monday at Nine has appointed George Jackson as head of agency.

• IR35 insurance and tax consultancy Qdos has appointed Dominic Johns as head of business development.

• Multi-sector recruiter Red Eagle welcomes Robert Salter as a senior specialist in food and beverage.

Thaddeus Andres has joined executive search software provider The Cluen Corporation as director of social and content. He was previously head of marketing for IIC Partners Executive Search Worldwide.

• Life sciences executive search firm The RSA Group welcomes Mark Johnson as a partner. He joins as an expert in the cell and gene therapy sector.

VMAGROUP, an international recruitment and executive search specialist for communications, digital and marketing, has promoted Andrew Harvey from UK executive director to group CEO. He succeeds Julia Meighan, who moves over to chair.

The company also welcomes associate director Lisa MacMillan back to the UK following her relocation from Hong Kong. She now joins VMAGROUP’s London team, focusing on senior level search assignments in the financial services, professional services and investor relations sectors.

• Finance, learning and technology recruitment specialist Woodrow Mercer has appointed Alex Robbins as associate director to head up its technology offering in its Birmingham office.
