Midlands hospitals hold recruitment drives

The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust is to hold a recruitment day for nurses.

The event this weekend covers vacancies at three of its sites including the Royal Infirmary, the General and Glenfield Hospitals.

In a statement released this week, the Trust revealed registered nurses are invited to attend events at three sites on Saturday [26 January] to learn about opportunities in a range of specialities, including speciality medicine, emergency department, renal, respiratory, cardiac and vascular, ITU & theatres, musculoskeletal and specialist surgery, renal, surgery and cancer, haematology and oncology, and children.

Attendees will be given a tour of the hospitals, meet the nursing teams and learn about the available roles in Leicester’s hospitals. Interested candidates should bring their CVs as interviews will be taking place and conditional job offers given to successful candidates.

Elsewhere in the country, Northampton General is to host its own recruitment day on 2 February from 10am to 2pm.

The hospital has vacancies for nurses and midwives to work in medicine, paediatrics and theatres.
