Civil service creates hundreds of jobs with new centre in Stoke on Trent

Stoke on Trent is to be boosted to the tune of more than 500 civil service jobs.

Stoke on Trent Live reports this is due to Staffordshire town Hanley being chosen to house a new government centre.

As part of a major nationwide £1bn programme, Her Majesty’s Courts and Tribunal Service (HMCTS) will be recruiting 100 people each month between January and May, with some vacancies already available online for the new roles, which will be based at Bennett House in Town Road, Hanley.
