Be wary of equality Clauses when hiring Santa

Recruiters should tread carefully when considering male or female candidates to play Santa in paid roles this Christmas or risk falling foul of the Equality Act.
The warning follows Daily Mail reports this week about a case in the North-East in which two women volunteered to play Santa this year and tour the streets of Newton Aycliffe town centre in County Durham.
