X Factor Burgess is part-time recruiter to pursue singing dream

X Factor contestant Georgia Burgess has returned to recruitment part time as she continues to make strides in her music career.

A couple of weeks ago, X Factor viewers saw judge Simon Cowell opt not to select her to go on to the live finals at the judges’ houses stage of the singing competition.

But it appears this has not stopped Burgess pursuing her dream. Earlier this week she tweeted she had taken part in a studio session, adding she was excited for her followers to hear all of her new music.

And it seems hardworking Burgess, a recruitment consultant at Dudley-based agency Masstemps, is balancing the demands of music and a career in recruitment.

When contacted this morning, a spokesperson for the agency told Recruiter Burgess had returned to her role in a part-time capacity following her participation in the X Factor.

Upon her elimination from the show, the hashtag #JusticeForGeorgiaBurgess began circulating on Twitter and Burgess’s recruitment colleagues certainly agree with that sentiment.

The spokesperson described her singing on the show as “amazing” and the agency could not believe Cowell’s decision or that she was not in the show anymore.

Well good luck Georgia! We’re sure it won’t be long before you’re headlining stages up and down the country.
