Hungry Horse seeks pub-licist to check out the local boozer

If you like nothing better than having a few drinks down the pub, then we have the perfect job for you.

The Metro reports family-friendly pub company Hungry Horse is seeking a ‘pub-licist’ who will be required to drink on the job and report back to management about any problems or recommendations regarding the hostelry.

The job advert reads: ‘The winner should know their cask from their craft, be a pro at pub quizzes and be a key player in any pub sports tournaments. The ultimate pub-lover will be put through their paces to ensure they get the most out of their role and help to make their local Hungry Horse stand out from the competition.

‘As well as sampling the latest drink selection, the pub-licist will also be required to make a number of visits to their local, in order to provide feedback and recommendations to help make their pub the best in the country.’

Applicants have until 13 November to apply. Form an orderly queue at the bar…
