The update, released this morning, reveals group NFI was up 9% year-on-year – with NFI up 14% in its rest of the world segment, 13% in Germany, 7% in Australia & New Zealand and 3% in the UK & Ireland.

In the UK & Ireland, NFI growth was led by the group’s IT and construction divisions – up 14% and 7% respectively, while the South-West and Ireland posted the highest NFI growth across the regions - up 15% and 12% respectively.

Commenting on the group’s performance, CEO Alistair Cox pointed to a “good start” to the group’s financial year.

“Looking ahead, while we are mindful of macroeconomic conditions, the outlook remains positive across our International markets. We are continuing to invest in our key structural growth markets, notably Germany, France, the USA and Asia to capitalise on the many opportunities we currently see. We remain focused on driving profitable, cash-generative growth and leveraging our platform, which is the largest and most balanced in our industry. This means we can look to the future with confidence.”
