Travelodge recruits for more than 1,000 roles

Travelodge is recruiting for more than 1,000 jobs in the lead up to Christmas.

In a statement, the hotel chain revealed available roles include 700 full and part-time positions. These include 28 management roles (hotel manager and assistant hotel manager), while other roles include housekeeping team member, receptionist, team member and bar café team member positions.

The chain is also opening in the following locations:

  • East Grinstead
  • Gainsborough
  • Camborne Redruth
  • Chester
  • Solihull
  • York Monks Cross
  • Highbridge, Burnham on Sea
  • Lincoln
  • Walsall
  • Ashford
  • Bury St Edmonds

The firm is also seeking to fill 15 positions at its head office in Thame, Oxfordshire across IT, revenue, HR, marketing, customer services and sales.    

Travelodge is also recruiting for five maintenance engineers to join its nationwide in-house maintenance team service its locations across the UK.

The chain also operates an in-house management programme called ASPIRE. Since the programme was launched it has helped over 1,000 entry-level staff members into a management position. Last year, 389 Travelodge staff members graduated from the programme.
