Three arrested after claims of forced labour on building sites

Three people have been arrested after modern slavery warrants were issued in South Buckinghamshire.

A statement, released by the Gangmasters and Labour Abuse Authority (GLAA) yesterday, reveals Thames Valley Police supported by the GLAA and National Crime Agency arrested two men and a woman at a residential property on Love Lane, Iver on Tuesday (11 September).

Eight people, believed to be victims of modern slavery, were also rescued. Around 100 officers were involved in the operation, which took place following allegations made about forced labour being carried out at building sites.
