Consultancy firm to recruit 400 for new digital centre

A global consultancy firm is to create 400 new software engineering jobs in Belfast.

The BBC reports PA Consulting is recruiting specialists in software engineering, data analytics and security for a digital development centre it is to open in the city.

The project is being supported with almost £4m of government grants, while the Department of Economy (DfE) will also provide pre-employment training for 155 of the roles.

The firm has already recruited around 40 people, including 25 digital specialists.
