Recruiters urged to make their leave policy fair to all with requisite notice

As consultants up and down the country take a summer break, Recruiter spoke to employment lawyers to find out what needs to go into an employer’s holiday leave policy to be fair to everyone.

According to Stephen Jennings, partner at solicitor at law firm Tozers Solicitors, while Working Time Regulations require employees to give twice as much notice as the length of holiday they plan to take, in practice most employers adopt a different strategy.
