Former recruiter Porter misses out on England call-up

Recruitment consultant-turned-cricketer Jamie Porter has missed out on being selected for England’s first test match against India, which starts today.

Porter, who previously worked as a consultant at Mediplacements but left the agency to pursue a cricketing career with Essex CCC five years ago, was one of the unlucky cricketers to be named in the England squad but miss out on the team to face India.

England’s first test match with India started at 10am today [1 August] at Edgbaston. And we wish Jamie all the best for a future call-up to the England squad.
