AA jobs drive gets roadshow support

The AA is hitting the road to host a series of experiential events aimed at engaging talent to fill more than 700 vacancies.

The organisation’s head of talent acquisition, HR shared services, learning & development Craig Morgans revealed to Recruiter the AA will take to the stage at a central shopping location this September in Birmingham and Newcastle, with contestants offered the opportunity to undertake a randomly generated ‘challenge’.

According to Morgans, the events plays into the AA’s employer brand message of ‘Ready for Anything’, with prizes on offer at the event for all who take part and complete the challenges (proving they are Ready for Anything), with a larger prize presented later in the day.

“We’re keen to remind the local communities why the AA is a destination employer and what we offer those who come to join us,” Morgans said, adding while the events are going to be “action-packed and fun filled”, they are not for the faint-hearted.

According to Morgans, the challenges have been designed to be quirky and memorable.

“This isn’t about presenting ourselves as a group of daredevils, it’s about showcasing the excitement and comradery of working as part of our team. We expect these events to gain attention and cause a stir, spreading our employer brand by word of mouth and on social media,” he added.
