Wanted: IT talent specialist to mentor and manage women

An unnamed London-based tech firm is recruiting a CFO with a difference.

The difference is CFO doesn’t stand for chief financial officer but rather chief feminism officer.

According to interim talent specialist interim.team, on whose site the ad appears, the role, which is being piloted for six months, will charge the new recruit with managing all aspects of female recruitment, as well as supporting and mentoring female staff.

The central London interim role commands a salary of £1k per day or up to £261k a year.

The successful recruit will have at least 10 years’ experience working in senior roles within technology, preferably at global corporations, though this isn’t essential.

While they will also need to be a ‘people person’, with good social skills and an empathetic nature, they must also be strong minded and confident in implementing new business strategies and managing a large team.

The company recruiting for this role, who has asked to remain anonymous, also stipulates the position is open to both women and men.
