Bank holiday bonanza for staff if England win World Cup?

Football may well be coming home but that may not make any difference to whether agency workers or consultants alike can score an additional bank holiday next week if England win the World Cup.

Tonight, England will compete in a World Cup semi-final for the first time since the internet was in its infancy, the Iron Lady was still in office, and everyone was rapping along with John Barnes in New Order’s World Cup song, World In Motion.

Ahead of tonight’s game an online petition, calling for a bank holiday if England win the World Cup this Sunday...
