• The founder of niche hospitality recruiter Admiral Recruitment Paula Rogers has been invited to join the board of the Institute of Hospitality, of which Rogers is a fellow.

The Institute is a professional membership body for managers and aspiring managers who work and study in the hospitality, leisure and tourism industries.

• Telco recruiter E1EW welcomes Marcin Dombek as recruitment consultant to run its new office in Corby.

• Professional services recruiter Eames Consulting Group has promoted Richard Williams to director of finance and operations from head of finance.

• Australian Perth-based executive search firm Gerard Daniels has promoted Alison Gaines to global CEO. Gaines, who was most recently managing partner of Gerard Daniels’ Asia Pacific practice, will now lead the company to continue to drive growth across all regions and offices.

• Global executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles has appointed San Francisco-based partner Scott Atkinson to lead its venture capital practice.

• HR tech company Talmundo has appointed Reya El Thaalabi as country sales manager for the UK.

Steve Cooper, current CEO of US blue-collar recruiter TrueBlue, is to become executive chairman of the board, succeeding Joe Sambataro, who will remain a board member from 1 September 2018. The agency’s president and chief operating officer Patrick Beharelle has been promoted to CEO.

Meanwhile, Kristi Savacool, former CEO of global HR solutions business Aon Hewitt, has joined TrueBlue’s board of directors with immediate effect.

• Cloud computing firm virtualDCS welcomes Colin Meakin as a non-executive director.

Ford & Stanley makes the Wright move at Talentwise

Ford & Stanley Group has promoted Richard ‘Ricky’ Wright to head of sales for Talentwise, the blue-collar skilled and semi-skilled business area of the group’s recruitment arm.
