Solicitors urge recruiters to educate clients on transgender inclusion

Recruiters have been urged to educate clients on the importance of having a policy in place reflective of an inclusive workplace that welcomes transgender people.

The call follows research, released this morning by law firm Crossland Employment Solicitors, revealing just 3% of the 1,000 employers polled have an equal opportunities policy that openly welcomes transgender people to apply for jobs.
