Barclay Simpson appoints Spencer CEO

International specialist corporate governance recruitment group Barclay Simpson has appointed Dean Spencer as CEO.

Spencer succeeds Ian Coyle, who becomes chairman of the company’s board.

In other board developments, two non-executive directors have been appointed: Miles Hunt, founder and former CEO of multinational recruitment group Empresaria; and Simon Lawton, former CFO of recruitment communications company Tribal.

Spencer has worked at Barclay Simpson since 2001. Before joining, he worked for the Michael Page organisation and Badenoch & Clark.
