As widely reported, the construction giant, whose roots date back more than 100 years, revealed talks over the weekend to cut group debt and strengthen its balance sheet with stakeholders, which includes the UK government, had not been successful. Consequently, the group added it is now taking steps to enter into compulsory liquidation with immediate effect.
