New development creates over 100 jobs in the Potteries

One of the six towns that make up the city of Stoke-on-Trent is to get a jobs boost, thanks to the next development of a former factory site.
The Sentinel reports that 120 jobs will be created when land off Brownhills Road in Tunstall is transformed into a new warehouse, with offices, an 85-space car park and a service yard.
The site, located alongside Tile Mountain’s new £10m HQ, sits within the heart of the Ceramic Valley Enterprise Zone.
The Sentinel claims that documents submitted with the plans say it is likely to create 60 full-time jobs and 60-part-time roles.
Stoke-on-Trent was an industrial centre of ceramic production in the 18th century and became known as the Potteries. And Tunstall, incidentally, was where a young Robbie Williams grew up before becoming today’s global pop superstar.
