Wizz Air takes flight in UK in search of crew

Low-cost Hungarian airline Wizz Air is hosting two recruitment days as part of its recruitment drive for 1,300 cabin crew and pilot roles.

The group revealed in a statement that having announced Luton as its first UK base earlier this year, it is looking to develop its base operations in the future and recruit experienced professionals to join its flight crew.

As part of its drive to recruit 400 pilots, the airline is hosting open days on 13 October at the Ibis hotel in London Luton Airport and Clayton hotel in Manchester Airport the following day.

Luton was the base of the now collapsed Monarch Airlines.
