Southampton to see 1,200 new jobs at former Ford factory

Around 1,200 jobs are to be created at a former disused factory in Southampton.

Southampton newspaper The Daily Echo reports the jobs will created at a site previously owned by automotive giant Ford, following a £100m redevelopment.

Among the companies that will occupy the site is Aston Martin, with the luxury car maker planning to open a new showroom there.
