High-street names to create over 1,000 jobs

AS Watson – the group behind high-street chains Superdrug, Savers and The Perfume Shop – is planning to create more than 1,000 jobs across the UK.

The BBC reports Superdrug will open 30 new stores and create 650 new jobs, while its discount stable-mate Savers will open another 45 shops creating 450 new jobs.

The Perfume Shop is also set to increase its number of stores to 17, creating 78 new roles.
