The English top the interview honesty list – so they say
The English are the most honest UK candidates at interview – well, at least they claim to be.
This is according to research carried out by professional CV-writing company Purple CV, which found the English claimed to be the most honest, with just 15.9% lying, followed by the Northern Irish on 18.8%.
The Welsh were the most likely to tell porkies at interview with 21.7% lying – closely followed by the Scots with 20.8%.
Of course, all of these people have already admitted to lying, so who can believe a word they say? As we were only just saying to Her Majesty the Queen when she had us round for a fish supper and a pickled egg slap-up meal…
