Swanstaff Recruitment closes Midlands offices but expands hub in Milton Keynes

South-East-based Swanstaff Recruitment has closed two offices in the Midlands, with the loss of five jobs.

Dartford-headquartered Swanstaff, which has more than 20 offices across England and Wales, has stopped operating from Birmingham and Nottingham.

The firm has expanded the remit of its Milton Keynes office to cover the Midlands, as well as Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. The Milton Keynes hub will remain staffed by four people and led by Nicola Adcock.

The Birmingham and Nottingham branches were among five opened by Swanstaff in 2015.

A spokesperson said: “Swanstaff Recruitment is excited to announce that we have this week launched our brand new recruitment hub in Milton Keynes.

“By amalgamating our Nottingham and Birmingham branches into this recruitment hub we will be able to deliver a better value and higher standard of service to both our clients and candidates. This development follows a great year for Swanstaff.”

The company also launched an employee share scheme this month, which it claims will see a quarter of the business gifted to employees over the next five years.

Swanstaff, founded in 1997, focuses on national recruitment from its head office and regional temporary placings from its network of local branches.
