Amazon ends one of Transline’s contracts

Online retail giant Amazon has ended one of its contracts with labour procurer Transline.

Late yesterday the Guardian reported Transline has been axed from supplying temporary warehousing staff to Amazon, with agencies Adecco and PMP understood to be benefitting from the change.

A spokesman for Amazon told the Guardian it does not comment on its relationships with suppliers.

However, in a statement sent to Recruiter, a Transline spokesperson said while there had been changes to Amazon’s overall supply network, it remains a partner and committed supplier to Amazon.

No further details were provided on the type of contract ended by Amazon.
