Airswift hires two directors to cope with energy boom
A stabilising oil price and booming infrastructure market has seen global workforce solutions provider Airswift make two senior hires in its infrastructure and energy sector teams.
Craig Slater joins as permanent director for EMEA to grow Airswift’s infrastructure division and build a team of consultants to diversify its permanent recruitment solutions. An expert in his field, Slater will oversee the strategy delivery for permanent recruitment in the energy and process sectors.
Meanwhile, Richard Clay has been appointed as business development director for Africa, responsible for expanding Airswift’s operations in both the East and West of the continent. With 14 years’ experience in energy and recruitment sales, including extensive experience in Africa, Clay brings a strong background of establishing local operations in new geographies.
Commenting on their appointments, Slater says the infrastructure market is booming thanks to rapidly developing global economies, such as Dubai and China, and necessary upgrade projects worldwide. Clay adds that a stabilising oil price has meant projects across Africa are being sanctioned, particularly in the gas market.
The new hires will be based at Airswift’s Manchester office.
