Stockholm-based fintech firm Trustly has appointed Ulrica Falkenberg as head of people operations.

Part of Trustly’s management team, Falkenberg will be responsible for supporting the company’s growth and doubling headcount from 130 to 250 in the next year.

Falkenberg, most recently deputy chief executive at Swedish company Oenoforos, previously spent 10 years with consultants Alumni and international recruiter Harvey Nash working on organisational change, leadership development and headhunting.

Commenting on her new role, Falkenberg says as Trustly grows across Europe, she would also work to foster a uniform culture across offices that is also localised.

“We don’t want to have a Swedish culture in the UK office. We want to have a UK culture integrated in the Trustly culture,” she added.
