Job-search technology start-up Zoek has launched the second generation of its mobile job search app.

Building on feedback from an earlier version, the redesigned app aims to provide a more intuitive and mobile native experience.

This latest version learns from a user’s previous responses to job search results, utilising machine learning technology similar to websites like Amazon and aims to produces a more accurate job match for the candidate, rather than crude word search producing a large number of irrelevant jobs. Users can swipe left to reject a job-search result or right to save it, and apply directly from the app on their mobile.

The group is also planning a TV advertising campaign this month.

The app is now live in both the Android and iOS app stores.
