International hotel group Macdonald Hotels and Resorts has appointed Liz Phillips as its new director of people.

International hotel group Macdonald Hotels and Resorts has appointed Liz Phillips as its new director of people.

Phillips, who joins on 1 September, has more than 20 years’ experience leading large-staff hospitality businesses. 

Currently completing an assignment with international food brand Krispy Kreme, she was most recently HR director at Mitchells & Butlers, whose brands include All Bar One, Miller & Carter, Browns and Premium Country Restaurants. 

She is also a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel & Development and a visiting Fellow of Birmingham City Universality.
