CiviHR, an HR system for non-profit and third sector organisations, is to be launched next month.

CiviHR is a platform covering staff records, recruitment, appraisals and absence management. It also provides all staff with a remotely accessible self-service portal and a separate portal for managers. A built-in reporting tool allows managers to gather performance data.

Funded by Zing, a private foundation, the platform has been developed by Compucorp, a digital and design agency specialising in creating solutions for non-profits, based on open-source software.

Seven charities are currently trialing CiviHR, including UK Youth and Farm Africa, while the system will be available more widely soon after the official project launch on 8 September 2016.
