A famous California couple were out of luck when they tried to recruit Gandalf the Grey to officiate at their wedding.

Silicon Valley billionaire Sean Parker, founder of music streaming service Napster, wanted McKellen to officiate at his Tolkein-esque wedding to singer Alexandra Lenas as Gandalf, but was told: “Gandalf doesn’t do weddings.”
