UK recruitment start-ups rise by 10% on previous year

Almost 3,000 recruitment agencies have set up in the first half of 2016, 10% up on H1 2015, according to analysis by recruitment finance provider Sonovate.

Almost 3,000 recruitment agencies have set up in the first half of 2016, 10% up on H1 2015, according to analysis by recruitment finance provider Sonovate.

The data, taken from Companies House, reveals 2,926 new recruitment agencies launched in the first half of 2016.

In 2015, a total of 5,110 new recruitment agencies launched in the UK, a 144% increase on the 2,092 agencies launched in 2010.
