Guy Day is the new chief executive of Eames Consulting Group, with immediate effect, Recruiter learns.

Day has been based in Asia as the financial services recruiter’s chief operating officer, but will now work in the UK, a company spokesperson told Recruiter. The company’s operations staff in finance, HR and marketing and all sales directors across Eames’ portfolio will now report into Day.

Former chief executive Matthew Eames’ role has been refocused as founder and executive director. He will now take responsibility for internal hiring and culture. Also, the spokesperson said, Eames will “play a very active role in business development for our sales teams” and contribute to the company’s executive search work.

Eames’ portfolio of recruitment sectors includes actuarial, audit, broking, change management, claims, compliance, finance, risk management, technology and underwriting.
