Global outsourcing advisory firm Alsbridge has launched a vendor management self-assessment tool for organisations looking to enhance their vendor management capabilities.

The free assessment tool comprises six vendor management categories including contract, financial, performance, relationship, risk and general strategy. Each category contains 80 criteria or questions that an assessor ranks using a sliding scale of 1 to 5, ranging from non-existent to moving toward best practices.

The new tool aims to help clients address critical challenges they face in enhancing their vendor management, governance and compliance capabilities, and can be accessed via Alsbridge’s website.
