Strategic talent acquisition company Write Research Company has appointed Malcolm Carr as head of its energy and industrial practice. 

Carr joins from specialist recruitment, managed services and fixed-price solutions provider, Carbon60, where he was operations director for the managed services division, specialising in the aviation, defence, government and engineering sectors. 

He has worked in the recruitment sector since 1998 and previously held agency and in-house recruitment positions at recruiter Hays and Matchtech.
