A talent management agency has been founded to cater for dogs made famous by the internet.

The Wall Street Journal reports The Dog Agency, founded by Harvard Law graduate and entrepreneur Loni Edwards, has opened its doors for business.

Edwards, whose own dog, Chloe has 126k followers on Instagram, told the paper she founded the agency after noting that many owners of internet-famous pets had neither the time nor the savvy to manage the careers of their canine companions.

According to the article, dogs with between 150k and 250k Instagram followers can receive upwards of $3k for a single post – of which Edwards says she takes a standard cut.
