NHS Professionals appoints Kirkbride

Nick Kirkbride has been appointed as the new chief executive of NHS Professionals, which manages temporary staff banks on behalf of around 60 NHS Trusts across England and is the largest recruiter and provider of temporary staff to the NHS.

Nick Kirkbride has been appointed as the new chief executive of NHS Professionals, which manages temporary staff banks on behalf of around 60 NHS Trusts across England and is the largest recruiter and provider of temporary staff to the NHS.

He succeeds outgoing chief executive Stephen Dangerfield, who has held the post since 2011. 

Kirkbride’s professional experience includes strategy consulting and leading businesses. Most recently, he was a partner at management consultancy Eden McCallum for eight years, supporting clients across a range of industries in both the public and private sectors including retail, software and pharmaceuticals.
