Japanese trading house Mitsubishi Group is to set up an HR hub in Singapore that will support recruitment and training activities of its subsidiaries.

Nikkei Asian Review reports the new centre will be established by Human Link, a wholly owned unit in Tokyo. The HR hub will support training and recruitment activities of other Mitsubishi subsidiaries, as well as help the units develop and upgrade staff evaluation systems.

The report added the group would consider setting up similar HR centres in other regions at a later unspecified date.
