Global executive search firm Heidrick & Struggles has appointed Elizabeth Axelrod, Clare Chapman and Willem Mesdag to its board of directors as independent directors.

Axelrod was previously senior vice president, HR, at online marketplace eBay; Chapman is the former group people director at telco BT Group; and Mesdag is the founder and managing partner at Los Angeles-based investment management firm Mountain Capital Partners.
