Former rugby player and Edinburgh entrepreneur Alan Wallace has launched a recruitment portal and consultancy, Focus, for the Scottish food and drink sector. 

The portal is designed to connect candidates and employers in real time. 

Focus is supported by recruiter Edgar Stewart’s business incubator. Edgar Stewart has historically recruited for the food and drink sector, but will hand this over to the start-up.

Wallace was most previously a director at Edgar Stewart Selection.
