Australia-based recruitment and training provider Ashley Services has appointed Stewart Cummins as managing director and chief executive.

Cummins takes up his role today following the retirement of managing director Ross Shrimpton, who assumes a non-executive director role with the company.

Cummins joined Ashley Services in December as chief operating officer, with the understanding Shrimpton would hand over the reins of the company in the near future.

No further information was provided on Cummins’ successor as COO.
