Florida, US-based recruiter Albion Staffing Solutions says it was forced to file a lawsuit against the City of Fort Lauderdale to collect on unpaid invoices worth more than US$187k (£130k).

A statement from the company, released this week, says $187,100.97 is still owed for unpaid invoices for temporary staffing services and that the city's own Audit Report acknowledges the debt owed to Albion.

Albion says it paid its temp workers as per timesheets authorised by the city.

It did not mention when the lawsuit was filed, though says it “remains pending”.

Recruiter contacted the company for more information, as well as the City, but had not heard back by deadline.
