US professional staffing firm System One has acquired Maryland-based IT staffing firm ALTA IT Services. 

Financial terms were not disclosed.

ALTA becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of System One Holdings and will operate in alignment with its IT division.

A System One statement says the deal gives it access to government clients – ALTA holds a top secret facility clearance. 

ALTA chief executive Howard Stein has retired. ALTA executive vice president Rich Paolicelli has succeeded him in the senior leadership role.
