Construction, property and engineering specialist Peace Recruitment has hired three consultants in the past month, all in junior positions.

Managing director Chris Peace said in a statement that junior staff were recruited because skilled candidates were in short supply and the firm decided the best strategy would be to invest time and money in the juniors’ training.

The new hires are:

• Paulina Baltrukeviciute, who has just completed a festival and events and marketing management degree at Edinburgh Napier University, and will specialise in facilities management recruitment.

• Andrew Watson, who will focus on the energy sector and is finishing a distance learning business enterprise degree through Edinburgh Napier University.

• Gavin Sullivan, who is recruiting for project managers and was previously a sales & marketing recruitment consultant at Avenue Scotland.
