Wayne Brophy, founder of specialist recruitment company, Cast UK, has been invited to become an entrepreneur in residence at Lancaster University Management School (LUMS).

Brophy has been appointed by the Department of Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Innovation following his success in the business school’s LEAD 2 Innovate programme, led by Ian Gordon, having won the Business Growth Award.

As an ambassador for LUMS, Brophy will help to drive the institute’s strategy to integrate teaching, research and knowledge exchange with the business community. The role will involve working with students to mentor, guide and foster business ideas that enrich the classroom experience.
